London – British telecommunications brand TalkTalk has launched a new concept store in central London designed by architects Found Associates.
The new store in the TalkTalk Soho office combines a main retail space on the ground floor with a private customer lounge on the first floor.
The open plan retail space, built from concrete and wood, features LCD screens that provide customers with information on new service plans, and large timber units that hold computer screens for browsing the internet. The upstairs private lounge also features a rough concrete interior design, but is reserved for existing TalkTalk customers.
With a format similar to Apple stores, the new TalkTalk shop combines service with experience. This contemporary type of product showroom is explored further in The Future Laboratory’s recent Retail Futures Report, now available in our Shop.
