Las Vegas – The largest e-reader yet is set to debut at the Consumer Electronics Show this week. The new Skiff Reader, backed by the Hearst publishing company, has an impressive 11.5-inch touchscreen optimised for viewing larger-format media such as magazines and newspapers. The portable device, with a flexible screen, weighs just over a pound. The Skiff Reader will join a host of other e-reader innovations expected to be on display to form one of the key themes at this year’s show.
Find out more about e-readers and other new technologies in our preview of the upcoming 2010 Consumer Electronics Show.
