Beauty products will become more personal and be released faster, as new technologies enable a greater degree of customisation, say industry insiders. The beauty industry will also be diversified and focused on prevention, according to experts speaking at The Future Laboratory’s Beauty Futures Forum. Industry leaders, such as Mia Collins, divisional merchandise manager at Harrods, and Nicola Kilner, group brands director at Deciem, defined six trends for the future of beauty and told LS:N Global that the future will be shaped by shifts towards diversity, speed and prevention.
