Astana, Kazakhstan – A new tent has been erected that houses a city within a city.
The Khan Shatyr 100,000-square metre complex designed by architect Lord Norman Foster is the world’s largest tent. The aim is to provide an escape for people who live in one of the harshest climates in Central Asia.
The tent comes complete with shops, restaurants, cinemas, a water park, a botanical garden, a mini-golf course and a monorail.
