London – Brand agency Moving Brands has given Savile Row tailor Norton & Sons a new appeal based on heritage.
The illustrations, which feature tailors and sheep created by Amanda-Sue Rope, a Central Saint Martins graduate, aim to tell the story behind the brand and the provenance of the materials it uses. ‘Bespoke cutting is an art and the cutter’s eye is all important’ is one of the messages on the Norton & Sons website, describing the company’s pride in craftsmanship.
In one illustration a man is seen sewing, complemented by text in red which reads: Norton & Sons established 1821. For more on the importance of conveying brand heritage, read our Luxury Report.
