Paris – There is a new shop in Paris that doesn’t sell anything. The conceptual Smart Store invites consumers to interact with and sample a selection of products from innovative brands and emerging artists. Nothing is for sale, but everything is available to taste and test, in the store or at home.
The Smart Store is housed in a slick creative space designed by eco-designer Antoine Laymond, working in collaboration with artists from the Good Food Collective. The store’s collection changes monthly and all that is required of consumers is their opinions. Kiehl’s beauty products, Stirrings pre-mixed cocktails and Electree solar chargers, shaped like bonsai trees, are examples of products available to discover.
As we explore Beyond Retail, consumer experience becomes paramount and interaction with products is now the driving force behind many retail concepts.
