London – Following the sizzling success of its summer edition Mediterraneo, Monocle’s London team is set to launch another condensed version of the international culture publication, this time curated for the winter period.

‘Monocle Alpino’, concerned with ‘everything at 1,500m and up’, will deliver the best in alpine-related architecture, food and style, comprising 72 pages of the freshest reportage from the snowy slopes, including Aspen, St Moritz and Niseko.

‘The newspaper will be similar to the first edition in terms of targeting our readers on their break,’ said Monocle founder and editor-in-chief Tyler Brûlé. The magazine will be available for purchase throughout airports and ski resorts before the season gets fully underway.

The Weekly Monocle Series radio programme, sponsored by Blackberry, will accompany the print and online edition, and will feature live music, discussion and debate, all available for eight weeks over the ski season.
