Las Vegas – Developed by Sifteo, a new range of digital games unveiled at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show features small interactive cubes that users rearrange in order to play.
The cubes respond to user interaction and the on-screen activity on one another, and are powered wirelessly by a computer carrying the Sifteo PC application. To play, users can stack the cubes on top of each other or create a large game screen.
LS:N Global recently reported on how digital concepts can be combined with physical interaction. Another example is IOBR, a children’s toy created from recycled Brio Shape Sorting boxes, allowing toddlers to update their status to a friend.
