Tel Aviv – TinyTap, a new iPad app, enables parents and children to create educational games based on the moments they share.
TinyTap offers an easy platform to build interactive games featuring photos, voice recording and soundtracks. Customisable game templates help to teach toddlers about musical instruments, colours and matching skills, and animal shapes and sizes. Creatively inclined users can also start from scratch and sell their creations in the TinyTap store.
Co-founder Yogev Shelley first helped to develop memory-aiding apps for his father, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, before realising that children could also benefit from a platform to create unique and personalised activities.
This is a great way to connect with the first generation of digital natives. For more on how to appeal to this demographic, read our Generation D macrotribe.
