On the road: Denim brand sees new mileage in Travel & Hospitality

Hong Kong – Denim brand Wrangler has launched the Wrangler Mileage app, which maps where you have been without exposing you to check-ins and social media updates.

Designed to re-acquaint the social media-saturated masses with the serendipity of travel, the app works silently in users’ pockets without requiring them to stop to key in check-in details. In the meantime, it gathers data based on location, weather, time and lunar phase.

‘With the rise of social media, there are fewer chances to discover something for yourself,’ says Luke Eid, head of TBWA\Digital Arts Network Hong Kong. ‘Wrangler Mileage uses technology in a way that encourages us to discover the world and to make decisions based on our own instincts, as well as recognising and rewarding you the more you explore.’
