Berlin – Launched in July, Clue is a mobile app that tracks a woman’s monthly cycle, collecting data to demystify her period.
Users of the app input menstruation-related symptoms, from mood changes to pains and skin problems. Clue then uses the data to provide scientific feedback to help a woman understand and take control of her fertility, so that she knows the best times to try for a child and can help her to avoid becoming pregnant.
‘We have built an app that provides accurate and scientific interpretations of a woman’s individual data,’ says co-founder Ida Tin. ‘I think that we are moving towards technologies that work with the body, not against it.’
Clue is one of the many apps that are making self-quantification easier and more personal. For more, read our Self-Quants tribe report.
