London – Debate forum Intelligence² staged a two-day conference in November at the Royal Geographical Society that saw speakers discussing visions for the next 20 years.Thirty-five of Europe’s leading academics, trend-forecasters and scientists gave lectures on subjects ranging from medical technology, body regeneration and digital narcotics, to self-repairing buildings, vertical gardening and the future of sleep, dreams, sex and travel. While the topics covered were broad, a running theme of sustainability emerged.
