Hedemora, Sweden – Sweden’s Milko dairy brand has been given a makeover inspired by the country’s traditional heritage.
Created by design agency United Power, Milko’s new packaging features graphics and patterns that draw on the identity of different regions. One milk carton has red, green and blue graphics inspired by Dalarna, a part of Sweden where folklore is important to local identity. The packaging for cream features lace-inspired patterns from Värmland.
As LS:N Global explored in our Mix Mash Inspire, a fusion of stylised tribal influences from around the world is resulting in a clash of patterns, prints and materials, as tradition is turned on its head.
