ICA x Dover Street Market

Google Maps is most often used to find out how to get from A to B in the shortest time. But the tool can occasionally be a gateway to serendipity, as when Gregor Muir, executive director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), typed in ‘17–18 Dover Street’ into the search box. At that moment he discovered that the former home of the ICA was the same building that now houses Comme des Garçons shirts and Lanvin dresses at luxury department store Dover Street Market.
