In with a win: Awards focus on interior stars

Maastricht, the Netherlands – The Great Indoors, the international interior design competition, this year focuses on a theme of changing ideals, with award nominees exploring design directions from Dark Vader to Playscapes.

Among the front-runners for this year’s awards are Stockholm store Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, designed by Swedish firm Guise; Copenhagen bank Saxo, by Danish studio 3XN; and the Prague National Technical Library, a collaborative effort by Czech designers Projektil, Hippos, PAS and Laboratory.
