Chicago – New year’s resolutions are going public, thanks to a new online aggregator that shares people’s positive wishes and gives them inspiration for the year ahead.
Created by graphic designer Monina Velarde, the New Year’s Resolution Generator collates people’s new year’s resolutions – and promises to give them quick bursts of inspiration through the coming year.
Hopes expressed so far range from the general, such as ‘Be happy and healthy’ and ‘Be thankful’, to the specific: ‘Stay away from gas station slushies’ and ‘Share the remote control’.
This simple idea demonstrates a new means of sharing and communicating ideas which draws on the strength of online community, and reminds LS:N Global of the the ‘give something back’ attitude seen in the Civic Branding trend we recently reported.
