Apeldoorn, Netherlands – An East German cold war aeroplane has been transformed into a luxury hotel.
Built in 1960, the plane was originally a government transporter for the German Democratic Republic, and was most recently a restaurant. Now located at Teuge airport in Apeldoorn, it serves as a luxury hotel suite, complete with sauna, Jacuzzi and 24/7 flight attendant. Installed by Hotelsuites.nl, the space creates an atmosphere of a previous time, evoking a sense of emotion and experience.
