New York – Blogger and Flat-Age advocate Ari Seth Cohen has collaborated on a new campaign for Audicus hearing aids.
- ‘Respect your elders and let these ladies and gents teach you a thing or two about living life to the fullest’ – Ari Seth Cohen, Advanced Style founder
- The campaign celebrates the glamour of Flat-Ager Joyce Carpati as she models her Audicus hearing aid. Think accessory not inconvenience
As the founder of Advanced Style, a blog celebrating elderly men and women who are living life to the fullest, Cohen has lent his creative talents to Audicus, the self-styled Warby Parker of the hearing aid world. Cohen has been championing Flat-Agers for some time, pushing older women to the forefront of fashion. Models discovered and photographed by Cohen have gone on to represent brands such as Lanvin and Karen Walker, and one such woman, Joye Carpati, features as the subject of Cohen’s glamorous short film.
‘People think hearing aids are still big and clunky, that they're associated with old age or being handicapped, and very few people know that these products are tiny, elegant and sophisticated,’ explains Audicus CEO Patrick Freuler. ‘Ari is going down a very analogous path in making ageing something beautiful.’
The Big Picture: Ageing is to be embraced. Flat-Agers are breaking every stereotype about the over-60s, moved by their interests, passions and ambitions just like everyone else.
