Sona Connected Bracelet from Caeden, New York

New York – The Sona Connected Bracelet by Caeden is a wearable device designed to help combat the effects of mental and physical stress, and to improve overall wellness.

  • The sleek bracelet, made from leather and metal, is designed to look more like a fashion accessory than a piece of technology
  • Sona’s Resonance breathing sessions come with a visual breathing pacer and audio guidance via its smartphone app

Unlike wearables such as Jawbone Up and Misfit Shine, Sona won’t help you to get fitter by measuring calories burned or counting steps. Instead, it helps build a natural resilience to stressful situations by recognising subtle surges in heart rate and recommending breathing exercises to help train the body’s autonomic nervous system.

By measuring heart rate variability (HRV), Sona is able to work out how much stress different activities exert on the body, showing how the time taken to return to resting heart rate eventually decreases following a course of Resonance breathing sessions, designed with leading scientists.

The Big Picture
