Amsterdam – Soon travellers will be able to immerse themselves in installations and designs by the Dutch collective Droog. The company has teamed up with Tokyo architecture firm Atelier Bow-Wow to create a hotel in Amsterdam. The 10-room hotel will be open to members only. Concept dinners will be created by designers as well as chefs.
Dishes at the hotel may feature market leftovers, a reflection of the collection Droog showed In Milan this year, which was made with recycled and re-appropriated products.
Both reflect Droog’s innovative new approach to extending the lifecycle of products, as described by the company’s founder Renny Ramakers in our Innovate report.
