New York – A dark, nightclub-feel interior is the visual aesthetic of choice for United Nude’s recently opened New York flagship store.
The shoe brand, known for its conceptual, architecturally inspired footwear, has designed a dynamic retail space reflecting its innovation-driven brand identity.
Curved, vibrantly lit LED walls surround the store and frame the shoes, giving each pair an almost revered, exhibit-like quality. Sculptural abstract design continues in the form of a dark mass installation – a simplified representation of a Lamborghini Countach, via 3D software, in a lower resolution.
The vision of designer, creative director, co-founder and architect Rem Koolhaas for the Manhattan store is for consumers ‘to fully understand the brand and get the total United Nude experience’.
