US – The voice-activated device lets consumers find recipes, order groceries and look up restaurants.
This new version of the Dash device enables users to order and check out within the eco-system of the Dash Wand rather than having to check out manually on the brand’s site.
At £15.65 ($20, €17.95), the price is low and Amazon Prime subscribers will be reimbursed with $20 into their account after their first purchase if they buy the device. Amazon is further pushing for sales by offering a 90-day free trial of its AmazonFresh home grocery service when buying the Wand.
Users can purchase household products such as paper towels and groceries, which will arrive within two hours of ordering. Like other Alexa-enabled devices, the Dash Wand can be used to control smart appliances in the home and can answer questions.
