Stockholm – Cleaning your house has just become a little more inspiring.
To promote its Ergorapido vacuum cleaner, Electrolux commissioned artist Tobias Allanson from design agency GreatWorks to illustrate the features of the machine.
The result was ‘Performance Through Art’, a filmed moving sculpture featuring an Ergorapido vacuum cleaner. The film shows a hand on a wheel with the vacuum cleaner following its movements. In one section, the sculpture demonstrates how Ergorapido manoeuvres around obstacles and under tables with a twist of the handle, thanks to its flexible floor nozzle.
We hope the vacuum cleaner it is as fun to use as it is to watch. For more on how to incorporate fun into design, read our Dreamtelligence report.
