Bangkok – Learning has just become more fun. Thailand’s Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology shows how augmented reality (AR) can help students open a new dimension from their textbooks.
In a new demonstration video, a schoolgirl flicks through a book teaching her about the earth’s geological layers. A camera detects what page she is on with the help of QR codes, which then display 3D objects such as the globe and the earth’s layers.
