London – The Central St Martins’ MA show is one of the highlights of London Fashion Week, where design talent is discovered. Past graduates include Christopher Kane and David Koma.
Minimalism was put to one side for the evening, with an array of mish mash prints and textures on show, and most designers opting for long, loose silhouettes and layering.
The winner of the acclaimed Ungaro bursary and Chloé award was Phoebe English for her textured, gothic dresses with hair-like fringing.
Viktor Smedinge won the Armani bursary for his elegant, feminine dresses and jackets with curved shoulders and rolled seams that look like scrolls of paper.
