Australia – A new campaign from the Australian government is encouraging people to swap unhealthy foods and activities for healthier options.
The Swap It Don’t Stop It campaign aims to tackle increasing health problems including obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Swappers are encouraged to change their behaviour and diets in small ways, and can then share their ideas through the website and an iPhone app. Examples include swapping the lift for stairs, playing sport instead of watching it, and opting for smaller portions.
LS:N Global previously explored the emergence of a Prohibition Culture in which public behaviour is increasingly monitored and curbed.
