Breganze, Italy – Diesel’s online platform invites consumers to go behind the scenes and learn about the production process of its new jeans collection, Our Glory.
The website is inspired by a 1980s laboratory, and revolves around three principles: quality, skill and paying tribute to the brand’s history. Workwear examiner professor Robinson Hork plays host in a video, sitting at his desk or moving around in the background, and writing scientific formulas on a blackboard as he talks about the new line.
Users can take a sneak peek at the three different models, and learn about the finishing details, by clicking on a blackboard that features silhouettes of the denim trousers: Nomad, Gold Digger and Labor.
This is a great example of how brands are demonstrating their production process, but also using design inspirations from the past. Read more in our Revivalism report.
