New York – Adding some genuine expertise to retail, a utilitarian bag company is offering some on-site help to repair bikes in its innovative new store. Jack Spade is collaborating with local bike shop Landmark Vintage, roadwear brand Rapha and an expert bicycle mechanic named Jimbo to create Jack and Jimbo’s Bike Shop, the new temporary concept store on Bleecker Street. Amidst Jack Spade accessories, an array of performancewear and a selection of fully restored bikes from the 1950s through the 90s, Jimbo will be on hand to offer advice and help rehabiliate customer’s bicycles. In all, clients are promised a well-stocked shop complete with local expert knowledge.
