Gothenburg – Swedish interiors retailer Lagerhaus has launched its online store through a series of collaborations with design bloggers.
To publicise the shop among online consumers, the retailer asked six interior design bloggers to host a temporary ‘blog-up shop’. Each of the bloggers chose their favourite objects from the store, and a special widget was created enabling them to sell the items directly through their sites.
In the physical stores stickers were placed on the chosen items, and the bloggers were invited for a series of meet-and-greet sessions with customers.
As consumers increasingly turn to online retail, brands are finding ways to connect the online and physical experiences. For more information, see our Tomorrow Store macrotrend.
