Tokyo – Car maker Nissan has launched a campaign for its updated Note hatchback that shows the new components of the car through animations on a webpage that move as the visitor scrolls down.
The animations begins with a title screen with clickable options. As the visitor scrolls down, virtual people climb inside a grid of cars and drive through a landscape of forests, cities and beaches. The cars complete their journey and statistics are displayed about the car’s energy efficiency.
This is a great way of using a webpage to promote a new product in a visually engaging way. For more on how a new wave of creatives are finding inspiration from the internet, read our Netstalgia macrotrend. For more on how to adopt this into your strategy, read our Netstalgia Toolkit.
