London – A new champagne bar inspired by a legendary champagne bottle is to open at the Harvey Nichols flagship store here. Mirroring the style of Émile Gallé’s classic Cuvée Belle Époque bottle design, the fifth-floor salon is the result of a collaboration between Perrier-Jouët and Shaun Clarkson Interior Design. The champagne bar will open in October.
Taking cues from Blingamalism, the decadent interior features Swarovski spotlights, Chesterfield chairs and classic French armoires. Gallé’s original anemone theme continues in the pattern of the bespoke carpet, the artworks of nature and flowers by Swedish photographer Barbo Andersson, and the botanics-inspired cocktail list.
