London – On an autumnal day in September the best of the beauty world gathered at The Future Laboratory HQ for the Beauty Futures Forum, a day of discussion and insight on the latest trends in the beauty.
To coincide with the release of our annual Beauty Futures report, speakers such as Jo Malone, founder of Jo Loves; Alex Epstein, founder of haircare brand Concoction; and Gina Ritchie, head of buying and merchandising of beauty at Liberty, spoke to our editorial team about the new mood in beauty, the rise of customisation and the need for personality in beauty branding.
The Future Laboratory co-founders Martin Raymond and Chris Sanderson explored the New Beauty Consumer, presented a Global Market Overview and discussed five innovators who are breaking out and re-inventing what it means to be a beauty brand in the digital age.
