Pasadena, California – A new advertisement campaign for Neosporin, the antibiotic ointment, underlines the medication’s healing capabilities with a hint of whimsical play.
The campaign, by the Art Center College of Design, features popular American icons, each with a Neosporin-aided twist. In one ad, the patient from the classic board game Operation is displayed with all his wounds healed. In another, the stitching on a baseball has disappeared, and in a third a piggy bank has had its coin slot erased. With their imaginative references, their mixture of simple, bold and playful ideas, and a touch of Dreamtelligent thinking, the advertisements’ message is all the more clear.
