New York – An animated dog notices passersby, works out what they’re doing and follows them, just like a real dog, in a new art installation.
As people walk by the interactive projection, Sniff, created by artist Karolina Sobecka and software developer Jim George, a computer system tracks their movements, and makes the dog chase them in real time.
Aiming to make people feel a mix of ‘fears and expectations, curiosity and interest’, according to Sobecka and George, the project shows an engaging way brands might interact with consumers. For more ideas on engaging consumers, see our Brandtocracies report.
