Brussels – A new colourful hotel has opened in the Belgian capital.
Pantone, the colour matching system widely used by art directors and designers worldwide, has opened Pantone Hotel near the shopping district of Avenue Louise.
Designed by Belgian interior designer Michel Penneman and architect Olivier Hannaert, the hotel’s seven floors each feature distinct colour palettes to complement guests’ emotions, whether ‘vivid or subdued’. Room colours vary from vibrant shades of red to a more sober combination of black and white.
Adding to the artistry, the accommodation features photographic installations created by Belgian photographer Victor Levy that include a spectrum of Pantone colours.
