London – Architecture fans can get a taste of top-tier design while on holiday.
Living Architecture is building a series of holiday homes across the UK which will be available for rent. Unlike most retreats, these aren’t in the form of country cottages, but are a series of grand designs created by top architectural practices.
It is expected that the first structure to be ready, in July, is Balancing Barn by Dutch architects MVRDV. Other homes include The Long House by Hopkins Architects, A Secular Retreat by Peter Zumthor and Shingle House by Nord Architects.
