London – British high-street fashion chain Topshop will open a premium store later this month.
Located in London’s upmarket Knightsbridge, the store’s neighbours will include Harrods and Burberry. The 14,000-square-feet space will have a boutique feel with features such as a central metal sculpture stretching from the ground to the roof.
When the store opens on 20 May it will offer Kate Moss’s latest collection. Garments on sale will include a long frills dress for £160 and an electric blue lace dress for £130. There will also be previews of clothes from some of the capital’s young up-and-coming designers
The store will provide customers with a free personal shopping service, Topshop PS, and tips about local attractions, such as restaurants, will be available.
Post recession, consumers are looking to upgrade: Tesco, a British supermarket chain, has just launched a couture range.
