New York – The ‘hearable’ device features real-time language translation, a 4D menu and a gesture-controlled interface.
The Dash Pro is the next iteration of the brand’s Dash earphones released in 2016. Its real-time language translation feature, which is powered by the subscription-based iTranslate Pro app, enables users to translate verbal content by holding their smartphone towards the speaker.
A second translation feature called Air Translate enables two Dash Pro users speaking different languages to communicate with each other without the need for a smartphone app. At present the software supports 40 different languages.
An invisible ‘4D’ menu enables users to navigate their device using a variety of gestures including turning their head and tapping their cheek. Users can also make or receive calls, store and listen to songs, and track and visualise their workouts.
