London – A new sustainable fashion shop is promoting the idea of making clothes last longer.
The 123 boutique in London’s Bethnal Green creates new garments from old ones. They are made with vintage fabrics and prints with limited runs of three pieces per garment. ‘This means walking into a party and finding someone in an identical top is impossible,’ says Ross Barry, the label’s founder.
Besides its own label, a 123 gallery will show collaborations with fashion designers such as Christopher Kane, while another floor will allocate space to designer Dr Noki and his NHS diffusion line.
