Paris – Jean Paul Gaultier’s autumn/winter 2011 show at Paris Fashion Week provided a visual spectacle of James Bond-like characters with femme fatale style. Marking a distinction from the collections in Milan, the overall mood was dramatic and glamorous.
As well as blurring gender boundaries, the designer has cleverly pieced together contrasting separates, including oversized parkas, tuxedo jackets and neoprene trousers for a look that is polished and strong.
