London – Anglo-Dutch design alliance Studio Glithero has released a video documenting the creation of its recent pop-up Poured Bar, made for the Corinthia Hotel in London.
The Corinthia commissioned the bar to be used as part of a temporary party space for events including the BAFTAs and London Fashion Week. The video was screened beside the bar at these events, giving visitors an insight into how it was made.
For Sarah van Gameren of Studio Glithero, showing people the production process is as important as the final product. ‘We hope people were surprised and amazed by the production technique,’ she tells Dutch news website design.nl. ‘The biggest reward is always to convince people that something seemingly impossible can be done, and is a beautiful process to look at.’
