California – Kyte Phone is a new free Android app that acts as a child-friendly interface which allows parents to select and monitor the smartphone contacts and information their children are able to access.
Parents first have to register for an account with Kyte Phone by supplying their own personal details before being able to open the app for their child with a chosen username and password. These details are also needed to close or navigate away from the app.
Control of the contacts list and other applications available to the child is then managed via a web-based dashboard. This dashboard also provides details of recent phone activity and can track the phone’s location through GPS.
While aimed at Generation Ds, Kyte Phone offers the parents of such tech-savvy children new means to achieve ever-important security. Find out more about Generation Ds by reading our Generation D Macrotrend.
