Paris – Electricity Comes From Other Planets is an audio-visual interactive installation for the Joue Le Jeu exhibition in France’s national digital museum, La Gaîté Lyrique.
The exhibition, created by Fred Deakin, Nat Hunter, animator Marek Bereza and music producer James Bulley, consists of eight large ‘planets’ that respond to people’s movements as they pass through the exhibition space.
The ‘planets’ emit sound and project animations through a combination of generative and projection mapping. Sounds and animations become more lively, depending on how many people are in the room. When there is no one around, they rest and become inactive.
