US – Food envy could soon be a thing of the past thanks to a new Instagram menu launched by New York restaurant Comodo.
The Latin American-style eatery enables hungry diners to browse through images of the dishes on offer with the hashtag #ComodoMenu if they can’t decide what to choose.
They can also add their own snapshots to the album and share comments and recommendations about courses to help their peers navigate the menu.
Perhaps news of the menu will appease those who frown on smartphones at the table. A US Zagat poll this month revealed that 61% perceived it to be bad manners to text, tweet or email when with company in a restaurant.
