Eindhoven, Netherlands – A disused farmhouse has been transformed into a mini golf course with nine holes and a clubhouse by design collective La Bolleur for Dutch Design Week. The eight designers involved have a track record of temporarily converting redundant spaces into cultural meeting places, previously turning the farmhouse into a ping pong club, a redundant brothel into a restaurant and an empty swimming pool into a party space.
Turning disused spaces into community hubs is becoming popular in the recession; failed malls are being used in creative ways in the US] Visit the golf club until 25 October in Smalle Haven 24, Eindhoven.
