Malmö, Sweden – Entering the La Boulangerie bakery in Malmö, in southern Sweden, is like stepping back in time. The bakery, which dates back to the 1900s, has been restored, complete with traditional, rustic interiors. Sourdough loaves such as French Pain aux Abricots line the counter, which also features an old-fashioned till.
The loaves are all stone-baked and made without preservatives. The bakery is so popular that a van containing bread has hit the streets of the city to reach on-the-go customers.
